Little Pink Ribbon Book
Little Pink Ribbon Book is a booklet that provides information about good breast health practices and mammography resources for insured and uninsured women. The booklet is also given to women after diagnosis and provides a wealth of information including:
• Brief description of breast cancer treatments, including clinical trials
• Post-treatment issues, such as lymphedema, sexuality, treatment-induced menopause and osteoporosis
• Tips for managing one’s care after surgery
• Prostheses, bras, hats and wig local resources, including access to free products
• Insurance, legal, and financial resources
• Advocacy, education and support services
• Transportation resources
• Internet support resources
• Medical terms and definition section
The Little Pink Ribbon book was created and is updated every 3-4 years by the Komen Education Committee. Cost of printing the booklet is covered through the affiliate board budget process. Click here to download The Little Pink Ribbon Book.
